This was a redevelopment of an existing park where the old sites had been cleared by the owner.
We managed the difficult process of dealing with council on a highly politicised development site. We were able to rebrand the park, move the existing building to new locations, add a communal pool and relocate sites to suit a new concept in park living home designs.
In association with the owner we were able to redesign the way Park Living is presented and perceived. This has provided a high value return for the owner whilst giving the customer a new residential experience and lifestyle choice.
The project involved gaining council approval, tendering the construction, project managing the construction, installation of new services and removal of the legacy services. One of the more difficult tasks was managing the expectations of the existing residents and making sure services were maintained during the changeover. The project management tasks also involved providing marketing support and designing and having new homes installed.
Urban Dwell designs properties to allow the use of both solar and LED lighting to increase the environmental sustainability of the development.
This project was delivered on time and on budget with no WHS incidents.
